Platypus Planting Day
Moorabool River

On 16 August 2025, our team of four joined 30 volunteers for the annual Platypus Planting Day at Dollys Creek Road, Morrisons, working with the Moorabool Catchment Landcare Group to restore vital habitat along the Moorabool River.
Together, we planted 1,400 native seedlings with guards to protect them as they establish. Dynamik Works was proud to contribute and when it looked as if the volunteers would not be able to finish planting the stock supplied for the day, our team were able to fetch the forestry spades and planting bags and demonstrate how planting is done in the commercial space!
A huge thank you to the Moorabool Catchment Landcare Group, the volunteers, and all partners involved—it was inspiring to see the community come together to safeguard such a unique species.
Grow West
Monteville Ln, Ballan
On Sunday 20 July 2025, we joined Grow West’s Community Planting Day at Monteville Lane in Ballan, contributing to the restoration of native habitat along the Korjamnunnip Creek on Wurundjeri Country.
Our team of four worked alongside over 200 volunteers to plant 4,000 indigenous seedlings, each carefully guarded to support long-term survival. The day focused on enhancing biodiversity and reconnecting important habitat corridors in a landscape home to platypus, wombats, wallabies and birds of prey.
A huge thank you to Grow West and all the dedicated volunteers who made the day such a success. We’re proud to play our part in restoring this incredible landscape.

Maribyrnong City Council
Stony Creek

On 24 August 2024, we joined a community planting day at Stony Creek, supporting the restoration of native vegetation along this important urban waterway in Melbourne’s west.
Our team of six worked alongside 25+ volunteers—including council members and the Lord Mayor of Maribyrnong—to plant and guard native species along the creek’s shrubland. The effort builds on years of work by the Friends of Stony Creek to create a continuous habitat corridor and aligns with the Stony Creek Rehabilitation Plan 2019.
With support from the Victorian Government and Maribyrnong City Council, this initiative is helping transform Stony Creek into a thriving, healthy waterway. We’re proud to contribute to this shared vision and grateful to everyone who made the day a success.
Werribee River Association
Werribee River Park
On 18 May 2024, we joined the Friends of Werribee River Park for a morning of planting along the lower Werribee River, helping to restore native vegetation in this important conservation area.
Our team worked along the riparian zone, planting indigenous species and protecting each seedling with biodegradable guards. These efforts build on years of restoration, including the Cooler Greener West project, and are part of a broader vision to enhance biodiversity, reduce invasive species, and strengthen the park’s ecosystem.
Thanks to the Friends of Werribee River Park, the volunteers, and the Victorian Government’s Green Links Grant for supporting this important work. We’re proud to play a part in creating a healthier, greener future for this valuable habitat.

Grow West
Telford Park

On 21 July 2024, we proudly took part in Grow West’s Annual Planting Day at Telford Park, Darley, contributing to the restoration of native grassy woodlands on Wurundjeri Country.
Our team of seven joined over 200 volunteers to plant 4,000 native seedlings, each protected with tree guards to support their growth. This year’s efforts focused on in-fill planting to create vital mid-storey habitat for birds and insects, strengthening connections across the Lerderderg River landscape.
These plantings form part of Grow West’s broader goal to restore 10,000 hectares within a 50,000-hectare region—one of Victoria’s largest land restoration projects. We’re proud to support this important work and grateful to Moorabool Shire Council, Melbourne Water, and all the volunteers who made the day a success.
